Recently a new friend was visiting New York for the first time after living in France. She was adorable and like most tourists - their excitement for the city was almost contagious. A group of my friends took her to see all the popular New York scenes, parties, restaurants, etc.
As she would refer back and forth comparing the two different cultures, I realized how obnoxious of a country we are.
